  Finally got a pair of quality, goodyear-welted shoes, the Florsheim Veblen. I chose the rust color, which to me is the perfect shade of brown, not too dark like the brown color which is offered, and not too light like the brandy color which is offered. All of the other reviews i have heard about these shoes are correct, they are a substantial and heavy shoe, but beautiful nonetheless. I hope to have these for a long while, and get some great wear out of them.
